Tennis

Our tennis program features instructional, recreational, and competitive tennis opportunities for players of all ages and ability levels. Our tennis professionals offer group and individual lessons. We aim to provide members with the best possible tennis experience on our outdoor courts, even in winter, when our courts are enclosed in a bubble.​

Non-members are welcome as guests of a member for a $20 drop-in fee.

Pickleball

It’s official — according to the latest SFIA report, pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the U.S. for the fourth year in a row! Here at VIGCC, many of our members have joined the movement and are always excited to welcome new players to the court. No matter your age or experience level, there’s a place for you in our pickleball community.

We’re all about creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where fun, laughter, and good sportsmanship are just as important as the game itself.

This summer, we invite you to join our VIGCC Pickleball Clinics — a great opportunity to sharpen your skills, meet fellow members, and enjoy time on the court. Whether you’re brand new or looking to level up your game, we’ll cover basic drills and strategic play in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Intermediate to Advanced Tennis Clinic

Fridays & Saturdays 10:30 AM to Noon

- USTA 3.0 - 4.090 minute Live Ball Group - $25 per person - minimum four players, maximum six players.

Friday morning 10:30am - 12:00pm Fast paced combination of cardio and competitive play.
Cost: Members: $25 | Non-members: $35 | Capacity: Limited to 8 students

Beginner to Advanced Beginner

- USTA 2.0 - 3.0
90-minute Skills and Drills Clinic - $25 per person - minimum four players, maximum six players.
Wednesday morning 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Times can be adjusted according to group preference.​​

• 60-minute Two-Person Semi-Private instruction $90

• 90-minute Three-Person Semi-Private instruction $120

- $15 added per additional person.
Lessons focus on stroke mechanics, volleys, tactics, and mindset.

Additional programs & Private Lessons

Tiny Tots Clinics, Youth Clinics, Teen High-Performance Academy, and Private Lessons cost: Members: $85 per hour | Non-members: $95 per hour

Coach Geoff Garza

Coach Garza is incredibly excited to head the racket program at the Vashon Island Golf and Country Club. Mr Garza has been a tennis player and a member of the United States Tennis association for over 40 years. During that time he has coached hundreds of players from tiny tots to advanced teen academies, USTA League teams as well as conducting clinics and semi-private and private lessons. Coach Garza is also on staff at the Amy Yee Tennis Center where he has worked for the past 12 years. Garza believes in making the game fun, accessible and educational for all ages and levels. Pickleball is also available along with the tennis program. ​​​

• Members can invite non-member “Guests" to play for a guest fee of $20​

• Guests pay $20 through YourCourts or directly to the Vashon Island Golf & Country Club office

• Guests are limited to two bubble visits per month (total)

• Guests cannot book courts on their own, they must play with members.
